Ben Davies is the Systems and Quality Engineering Manager at Dova Health. Leveraging over 10 years of experience in the medical device industry, he specializes in applying systems engineering principles to developing quality management systems and creating regulatory compliant products by ensuring a solid foundation in safety and cybersecurity.
Ben has contributed to the design and development of many medical devices over his tenure in the industry. Ben was a key contributor to the development of NeuroCatch Platform 2.0, taking it from concept to launch in under three years. He redesigned the quality management system for NeuroCatch to facilitate product development and was instrumental in both the hardware design and technical file creation. NeuroCatch Platform 2.0 was FDA registered in 2022. He helped bring LumiThera’s Valeda Light Delivery System to market by improving its mechanical design for the initial production runs. Valeda was eventually cleared by the FDA in 2024. He also assisted Perimeter Medical Imaging by updating their imaging cart design for manufacturability following concept development. The Imaging Cart was granted FDA clearance in 2021.
Ben is a Certified Reliability Engineer and a registered Professional Engineer (EGBC). He enjoys solving complex problems by understanding the small details and building systems that support high-quality, effective, and impactful healthcare products.
