Caryn brings over 20 years of extensive accounting expertise to Dova Health. Beginning her career as a junior accountant, she has accumulated valuable experience across diverse industries, including municipal government, private start-ups, and publicly traded companies listed on the TSX and TSX Venture Exchanges. Her background spans the resource, technology, and trades sectors, showcasing her adaptability and breadth of knowledge.
Caryn specializes in full-cycle accounting, preparing financial statements, managing tax compliance, conducting financial analysis, and overseeing audits. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA-CGA) and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
Outside of work, Caryn pursues a variety of hobbies that reflect her creative and active lifestyle. She enjoys rock climbing, exercising, playing games, and crafting. These activities not only fuel her curiosity and energy but also allow her to unwind and connect with her artistic side. Balancing her hobbies with the demands of co-managing a young family, Caryn embraces opportunities to explore new adventures both near and far.
