James Core
GRANTS & INVESTOR RELATIONS ANALYST
James Core is Dova's Grants & Investor Relations Analyst. He has a strong background in financial analysis and capital markets. He graduated with distinction from the University of Victoria and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics, with a Finance specialization. James excels in data analysis, research, financial modeling, and investor relations.
Previously, James was a Capital Markets Co-op at the BC Ministry of Finance, where he contributed to the successful issuance of over $8 billion in bonds. He worked across multiple trading desks, creating market updates and performing data analysis to support decision-making. James also co-founded the University of Victoria Financial Analysis Club, an initiative aimed at educating students on financial markets.
Outside of his professional work, James is passionate about giving back to the community. He has volunteered as a coach for elementary school basketball summer camps and has been involved in an elderly couple buddy program. In his free time, James enjoys playing and watching basketball, solving sudoku puzzles, and maintaining an active lifestyle. He is currently preparing for the CFA Level I exam.
